For this project, I wanted a minimalist black and white aesthetic. I wanted it to look ad hoc, and somewhat rough and unfinished. I shot black and white photos in a completely dark room, with a few strobe lights pulsing in the background. These strobe lights were my only lighting, and they gave the shots the feeling of randomness that I wanted.

I wanted these random exposures so that I could highlight Dwayne’s face with some simple lines.
